Effrenka is a True Hunter serving The Circle in Siltria. Though currently estranged, she still is functionally a scout for the pack.

Appearance
Effrenka is a Gormutt, a hunter species prevalent in the northern country of Gortogen.
She has a tall, lean, white body and black hair with two braids. One of her eyes is yellow, while the other is milky-white, most likely the sign of a night vision deficiency, indicated by its lack of glow in the dark. Atop her head are dark grey, pierced, floppy ears. She also has snake-bite piercings below her crooked lips. Effrenka has a medium length tail that gradually turns dark grey, and given her temperament, frequently becomes frazzled.
Effrenka has a laceration scar across her back.
Effrenka wears a scanty, black dress, torn shorter from excessive use and wear. Over that she wears a brown girdle secured with a belt, cinching her waist. On her legs are crimson, torn thigh-length stockings, one with checkers, and with black steel toes to boot. She wears a black choker around her neck as well as a crimson half-mask.
On her right hand is a brown, cuffed glove. On her left arm appears to be a padded manica, or what’s left of a full jacket. It’s fitted with an old, steel jack-chain with a unit patch sewn into the shoulder.
She has a silver band on her middle finger.
For equipment, Effrenka carries a Qothic cup-hilt rapier paired with a parrying dagger. During the raid, she donned a torn, black mantle with an old five-bar lobster pot helmet with a bullet dent in it.
Personality
Effrenka is jaded, cynical, short-fused, and often sarcastic. She is antagonistic towards those she doesn’t trust, like Glass, and holds a resigned disgust towards other True Hunters, herself included. Though given her outlook, she has formed a tight bond with Yenkaran, acting as a mentor to the young man. Regardless, her abrasiveness irritates even Yenkaran, and she frequently seeks out to rage-bait Glass.
That being said, Glass sometimes takes advantage of Effi’s short fuse to further get under her hide.
In Installment 67, her animosity with Glass flipped upon discovering that she wasn’t a True Hunter when she sustained a fatal injury, showing genuine concern for her and lashing out at Yenkaran for putting her into harm’s way thus forcing her to be a True Hunter.
For reasons currently unknown, Effrenka is estranged from Mikella’s pack, and has an aversion to one of their meeting spots known as “The Fool’s.”
Effrenka is claustrophobic.
Skills
Effrenka is a former soldier, and led a raid on the pinnace, employing tactics such as initiating a boarding action, snuffing out lanterns, room clearing, and aggressively countering militia members with reach and height advantage.
She planned the pinnace raid, accounting for the disadvantage and severe lack of resources they had to carry it out.
She is very strong, and can hand-load a crossbow without a cranequin.
She has grappling experience, likely training from her time as a soldier.
She possesses some knowledge on crank engine mainsprings.
