Poke (pōk) are distant cousins of the Kunehva, characterized by their tiny size and big ears. Lacking physical prowess, they are often overlooked by the larger species. But for what they lack in strength they make up tenfold in intelligence.

Physiology
In contrast to the rest of the species that inhabit Calixo, Pokes are by far the smallest. They tend to have poor eyesight, but their brain is very large in comparison to their body.
Personality and Society
Pokes are the most brilliant race in Qoth, and are responsible for much of the empire’s technological progress, leading numerous scientific, medicinal, archeological, and philosophical renaissances. Many of their notable inventions include vertical plumbing, vaccines, articulated prosthetics, automatons, the sailing castle, Oxcot’s rail system, and the revolutionary crank engine.
