MasterSlayer010 says:
Don’t worry, you’re the main character, you’ll be fine…. I think

You envision yourself as a hero from the legends of old, embodying nobility and courage, a reminder of a golden era.
But you recall that these “protagonists” often perish in the most stupid ways possible. One such legendary warrior, Silver Scar: Invincible in battle. Impregnator of fortresses. Conqueror of islands… Ultimately felled by a rogue coconut.
It can be said that if your culture held any beliefs, they would be: Everyone bleeds, and wear a helmet.
Also, you aren’t sure if you can pull off the hair.
MickelPickel says:
So they’re here to inspect the cargo and passengers. You’re a citizen of their sworn enemy and they are actively looking for spies infiltrating their empire.

Hey, you aren’t one of those Islanders. They’d never let Gnomanyan scum like yourself anywhere near their tropical paradise. And living there would mean a lot of sailing, so yeah, not for you. Sorrova like yourself and Sorya just happen to look very similar, same species and all. But the discussing the nuances between the two isn’t going to help you here…
Koffee says:
continue the drunk act and say you need to throw up. Try stumbling drunkenly to the railings of the ship and vomit; aka stick one of your fingers as deep into your mouth as you can until it reaches your throat
Wheeler says:
After upchucking one of the marines walks up to you then you flirt with him. “Hey handsome you wouldn’t mind helping me.”
That is uh… certainly an idea.
Holy says:
Definitely not good if you’re on thin ice against the empire, better not attract their attention so you don’t walk the plank
The Gory Saint Says:
if they see you as a sworn enemy, best is to stay low and not stand out, there is a lot of soldiers with really sharp weapons

Those things are pointy. The “Ms. Drunkess the Seductress, enchantingly vomiting-her-way-out-of-trouble” act is making you increasingly nervous at the idea of drawing the ire of those marines. Something tells you they’re not going to be as sympathetic as your captain was.

You decide to hang with the crowd for now until you can think of something less audacious.
Colonel on the Cob says:
Listening in on any discussions that happen at Captain Delaford’s table could provide you with a lot of insight into your situation.

You carefully listen in on the conversation going on at the table. Your captain is mumbling something, while the Qothic Captain is sporting a crooked smile. Something seems off-putting… Perhaps it’s her unusually blue eyes, or her overly couth mannerisms. There’s just a sterile aura about these people.
She turns to the crowd with a commanding presence. “When I call you, you will come up and provide your travel documents to me.” She beckons one of the travelers to step forward.

One of the travelers steps forward.
“Papers.” she commands.
He provides it.
“Name.”
“Bruntee.”
“Where are you from?”
“Tenvar Province.”
“And what did you fill out under your trade?”
“Artisan.”
“What type of artisan?” Her tone becomes more inquisitorial.
“Clockmaker.”
“A Tenvari clockmaker, eh? Are we talking mechanical or those archaic flame dial ‘instruments’?”
“Mechanical.”
“Really? Surprised to hear such trades exist in a former Mandaskan province. Go on and tell me the time.”
“Round about the 8th hour is my guess.”
“Not bad, I know you’ll find your work much more appreciated here. Welcome to Siltra. Move along.”

…
Passenger list? Questioning? Hiding seems to be out of the question. Come on mind, clear up.
Kudos says:
Oh! It’s probably important that you hand them that piece of paper that you had in your satchel, the one that had the markings of your ship on it! Because it probably has information that Delaford’s group might need.
That’s right, you carry with you the same kind of document. The problem is, you don’t know what’s written on it, and Captain Delaford appears to be using it as a test.

Ok, focus. Things have been coming back to you so far. Surely you can remember what’s supposed to be on your document, right? Try to pry into your mind for anything that could aid you, because she’s about to call the next person.
