MasterSlayer010 says:
Well, it’s time to kiss ass or Do a dance (hey that rhymed!)

Sorta. But… no. No dancing. Never again.
Victoria Delphire says:
Act drunk, slur your words, and say “oh I’m sorry, I thought they locked the door to the food court”
Wheeler says:
Then slur your words “I just need some fresh air. Can you help to the deck of the of the ship?” Then act like you fall to the ground.
MickelPickel says:
Be 100% honest with them: say that you were listening to the myriad of voices in your head telling you to do wacky and zany actions.
Colonel on the Cob says:
Profusely apologize to the officer and explain that you were playing around with the hatchet and it slipped and got lodged in the door.
The Gory Saint says:
Tell that your drunk cabin mate swung it while he was in his stupor and you were trying to get it back
Colbreeze says:
Apologize for attempting to break down the door.
Foxycon says:
Your hand must’ve slipped and your hatchet has seemingly gotten stuck in the wall! Accidents like this happen all the time, they’ll understand 🙂

Being drunk would sure make whatever deranged act you just committed much more sensical and much less embarrassing. Also, given that intoxicants and violence are your home’s two main exports, maybe playing into your stereotype could be a degrading yet effective way to excuse what The Captain has just witnessed.
You channel a lifetime of observation on the intricacies of inebriation and act it out as naturally as you can.

“Ggh-Gra- grand Dawn—Danto’s Dauntin Dawnsday to you Capin’. This mm–myriad of voices done been telling me thisn’ door was tryin’ go to the uh…MESS HALL, annnd i wass like, ‘NO’ ʰᵉʰ.”

“I’m sooo ssorry, my friend in hiss souper and I slipped from hiss axe n’ it was stuck in this door. I’ve been in a horrible passenger and… and, I regret causing you all thiss problems sir… and I need fresh air cause I…”

“…don’t feel so good?”
The Captain lets out a long sigh. “Must be rough back home for you people. Let’s get you to the top deck, we’re being inspected.”

You arrive above deck and are instructed to wait alongside the rest of the passengers and crew.
Looking towards the bow of the ship, you are greeted with the sight of the smaller ship from earlier. The figures on the ship appear to have… branches on their heads? You then hear shouting and wood creaking from what seems to be a drawbridge of sorts.

…
The fresh ocean breeze starts to clear your head, and you realize there is one really important thing you are trying to remember about these soldiers…

As your mind works to piece things together, you watch the most strangely dressed woman you’ve ever seen proceed down the now carpet-adorned staircase.

The very leggy lady addresses your group. “I am Captain Iplyn Delaford, and these are my marines. Before you make port, the Qothic Empire will inspect the cargo and passengers of this vessel. Will the captain please provide the necessary documents to me?

Qothic Empire? You remember the warning Iron gave to you about them.
The Qothic empire has been fighting a bloody war for over a decade…

…And to them you will likely look just like their mortal enemy, a master of spy craft that would undoubtedly send an undercover stowaway aboard a neutral merchant vessel, posing as some aloof amnesiatic refugee from a dying nation in order to commit heinous acts in their name.
A Sorya.
Simply said, this may be a problem.
Also is that a woman in charge of things? You really are far from home.
