Background
Operation Restless Serpent is an ongoing operation in which boatloads of rendacine were smuggled into Qothic population centers. The goal was to afflict the Qothic populace with an extreme dependency to rendacine, and given their inclination towards coffee, it is believed they’d be predisposed to the stimulative effects of this drug. This in turn would bolster the Qothic war machine short term, so in the event when their supply is cut off, they’d crash into a lethargic state in the long term, granting the Confederation an upper hand in attrition in a few key fronts.
Results
The following is a transcript from the High Islands:
After only seven weeks of importation, rendacine is now widespread throughout the Empire, and has made its way into the military ranks as we’d hoped. However, the scheduled cut off did not yield the scheduled results. As it turns out, the Qoths have already found a way to distill their own rendacine. A much more potent, and longer lasting concoction. But it is much more addictive. Regardless, this play stands utterly useless. And after three more weeks, the Qoths have officially deployed it’s use in their doctrine. We can only hope that the restless fury that the Lead Serpent now wields will soon be the restless fury that destroys it. In this facet, their destruction is out of our control, and dare we say off-schedule.
