TheAmazing Goob says:
Yuovo said they grow certain plants in their village, maybe inquire about their properties and see if any could be of use in your travels. Surely some are sold locally if any strike your interest
CasVoiceActs says:
Make sure to stop at a shop to make sure you have enough supplies for your travels. Who knows, maybe you will find a book or a helpful, eccentric shop owner that can help you translate that piece of parchment.

Having supplies would be nice, but you aren’t quite sure what you could get without any money – unless anyone would actually want to buy legally questionable Fireworks and a Jar of Ominous Fluid.
Lightningfox89 says:
Ask if they can identify the ominous liquid? If you don’t think it’ll get you in trouble…

It wasn’t cool when people put their foul liquids on full display during lunch back home, probably still isn’t here. You’ll find a better time to bring it up.
foxfyre841 says:
You’ve kept quiet regarding the potential illicit nature of simply existing in racially charged times and your recent run-in with local law enforcement: good job not getting jailed. However, your predicament is less a mystery to your rescuer who notably did not tie your unconscious body to a tree to await the constabulary. Perhaps it would be wise to seek out this wolfish lightkeeper before jumping into the frying pan by attempting to rescue your comrade?
Yeah, looking for this Lightkeeper should come first. And who knows, you might be able to catch up with them if they were just here.

You ask Yuovo if he knew where the Lightkeeper was headed.
“From what I saw, they were moving along the main road to Cohv–Not too long ago either. They are most certainly still out there.”
differnet name says:
Ask if there are any major groups in the area you should be aware of. Trading guilds, religious groups, military groups, whatever. The local ‘policktiks’ essentially. (You think that’s how it’s spelt.)
“Policktiks” doesn’t sound right in your head, but what do you know?
You ask them about any of these groups.
“Here we have the Qothic empire–which I guess we can count ourselves a part of now. The army hasn’t really given us much trouble, but they have been more active around here, dealing with that Order of the Nanzuul.”

You almost choke on your coffee. “Wait. We’re in the Qothic Empire?”

“Technically we’re a colony, but yes. Qoth rules Siltria. But hey! Congrats on becoming a resident of the empire. I’m sure they’ll love having you.”

Yeah… They’ll love having your head on a pike.

Mandri chimes in, “Also, be sure to check out 9th Beacon in Cohv! That one pleases me, as they aren’t constantly nagging about how I’m ‘tUrNiNg mY BaCk oN My dUtY To mY DwInDLInG SpEcIeS’–like that ball-breaking Mandaskan one.”
“If you happen to miss that Lightkeeper, that’s where you’d find them.”
Colonel says:
Getting to Cohv should definitely be on your agenda, but don’t rush into that trip. It’s been a long, trying day, and you should at least spend the night to regain your strength. Ask if there’s a local inn nearby where you could do so.
Normally, you’d agree. Though somehow after that coffee thing, you feel great!
Victoria Delphire says:
It might be worth asking if there’s any work you could do in town or for them. You’ll need money for the trip along with supplies unless you wanna hunt for everything yourself.
Gareth says:
Time to get moving then, but maybe you should find a way to travel that isnt by foot, maybe working for someone at the town could do the job

You ask the two about the journey and your money predicament.
“Head down the east road; It will lead you straight there.”
Mandri’s trunk gestures towards you. “Why doesn’t this one travel with Zeb on his shipment run? I’m sure one can spare a few coin to watch over him.”
Her suggestion makes Yuovo raise an eyebrow. “What— in that rickety ol’ crank-engine of his? I guess you should be paying her to ride in that deathtrap!”
“Oh Yuovo, give that young man fortune! He’s at work constantly improving that thing. You’re still just displeased from how he fumbled that last shipment. It was an honest mistake.”
“Well I’m not the one with centuries of patience to spare! But ah fine! By the east side of Vebruk you’ll find that Bovani. Tell him that Yuovo sent you as his escort–And don’t worry, the road is safe. You’ll be out there to protect our plants from him. He’ll give you the coin.”

“Thank you for the hospitality… and treats.” You say as you finish your coffee and begin to stand. You make sure to wrap a pastry in your satchel for later. “I would give you something in return, but I’m afraid I don’t have much on me.”
“Just be sure to come back now, child. You just owe us the end of this story!” Yuovo winks– you can’t really see his eyes, but you think that’s what that was.
“Yes. Light guide you!”

As you leave their home, many thoughts start to manifest in your head.
First, despite your best efforts to escape the Qoths, you now live in their domain. You should tread carefully; this empire might be bigger than you know.
Second, you have an idea as to whom your savior might be. Chances are, the road to Cohv is where you’ll find them. And who knows, they might be able to help you find Iron.
But most notably, why were they so nice to you? They invited you, a complete stranger, into their home, and even fed you treats. People here are weird…
…Maybe this is a kind of weird you can get used to.

You follow the sounds of metallic cranking as you make your way to the east side of the hamlet. Before you is a scrawny Bovani working on some kind of… giant cart. This must be Zeb.
Ok… you’ve been gawking at this thing for about half a minute now.
…You should probably introduce yourself.

First encounter of “The Twink”
I’m excited to see when he goes from twink to….. hmmm….. hunk might be a bit too hasty. Perhaps…. lean and toned. Like Raiden from MGSR.
